DGM Kanetis noted that staff hosted a tour of EMWD’s desalination complex for Russell Lefevre, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Director.  The group was complimentary of EMWD’s presentation and stated they were impressed by EMWD’s groundwater desalination efforts.

 

DGM Nomura noted that last week, the District hosted a SB 998 implementation regional workshop for local water agencies that was very successful.

 

AGM Mouawad noted that this week, Riverside County Transportation is advancing a study that looks at the Ethanac Expressway Corridor, which is a long-term transportation project.  They will be coordinating a meeting this summer with stakeholders to discuss the project and would like to host the meeting at EMWD.

 

AGM Wall noted that the District has received all four recycled water user agreements from the agricultural community.
