Background

The State Water Resources Control Board’s (SWRCB) Emergency Water Conservation Regulations required the monthly reporting of retail water supply deliveries through the drought.  While the drought emergency was declared over and the emergency regulations have expired, most urban water suppliers continue to provide monthly reporting to the SWRCB.  This report (Exhibit A) summarizes the information Eastern Municipal Water District provided to the SWRCB from September 2018 to February 2019, and discusses some of the factors that may impact water demand on a monthly basis.
