Adopt a Proposed Resolution Amending the Classification and Salary Schedule

Background

On March 20, 2019, the Board of Directors adopted Resolution 2019-023, approving the Classification and Salary Schedule to reflect updated classification titles and pay ranges.  Minor additional changes to the Classification and Salary Schedule (Exhibit B) are warranted to reflect organizational need and are in line with the changes proposed through Fiscal Year 2018-19 Operating Budget.  The classification of Director of Engineering required a change in salary range to place it at competitive market rate. Additionally, an error was recognized on the union representation status for one classification title, and correction is required.  The proposed changes are summarized below.
