Background

The State Water Resources Control Board’s (SWRCB) Emergency Water Conservation Regulations require the monthly reporting of retail water supply deliveries.  Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) was initially required to submit a comparative analysis of June 2015 through February 2016 usage against 2013 usage.  While the drought emergency was declared over for most of California in April 2017, the requirement to provide monthly reporting to the SWRCB remains in place.  This report (Exhibit A) summarizes the information EMWD has provided to the SWRCB through February 2018, and discusses some of the factors that may impact water demand on a monthly basis.
